TEDxSuva’s 2017 theme: An Ocean of Ideas

The Pacific Ocean is our home.  It is the oldest, largest and most diverse body of water on the planet.  It has the highest mountains, deepest trenches and a near limitless range of human experience and natural conditions.  It has forever fired imaginations and this year it has inspired TEDxSuva’s 2017 theme: An Ocean of Ideas.

The team is looking forward to showcasing ideas worth spreading that draw their inspiration in some way from our ocean, but to get the show on the road we need your help.

How to be involved, have your work published and win $500?
We are calling Fiji writers to help us capture our theme in poetry, prose, story or essay with a maximum word length of 1000 words.

Speakers for 2017

We are also calling for local speakers and hope to finalise our line up by the end of January.  If you or someone who you know has a big idea that is in some way connected to the ocean please get in touch with us at contact@tedxsuva.com before then.
